This has been a mostly slow week. Not too much going on. I am still working on Jabba’s ultimate (7/12) and am working towards my TB Inquisitor team. I got Seventh and Ninth Sisters to R7. I’m planning on getting Grand Inquisitor to R7 after I unlock him in a couple days. Then, it seems like Fifth and Eighth Brothers are the last two for the most reliable team. It’s a shame Second Sister isn’t used, since it would be nice to boost her for her ship. Oh well.
Having Jabba has been nice in GAC. It’s made things easier. I really didn’t feel like playing the last 3v3 for a few different reasons, so I almost dropped out of Kyber 1. Now, I’m working my way back up. Jabba has also been nice for the special Smuggler’s Run event. It’s not much, but extra chances to re-roll mods do add up. I got one more shot at re-rolling my Cad Bane Datacron for Jabba and didn’t get it, so that’s it for this set.
The only other thing I’ve really been doing is farming 000 (0/65). He’s on a DS node, so it works with Jabba ticket farming. I guess Conquest is coming up again. This time with Jabba and the Grand Inquisitor, things should be a little easier.
My guild is estimating next TB, we’re going to shoot for 30 stars. They gave us a basic list of priorities:
1) R7 Inquisitors
2) Get Scythe
3) If you’re close to Jabba, finish him. Work on getting his team to R7.
4) Pick a platoon character to R7
I could be done with Inquisitors for the next TB, but if not definitely by the one after. Scythe is on track. I’ve unlocked Jabba, so I’m mainly looking at relics for the foreseeable future. Once the ultimate is done, I can start actively farming BT-1. Aphra is very likely in my future, but I’m going to be lock behind farming her requirements for a while. Hondo is going to be a bit of an issue, but that will be down the line since he will be a faster farm.
I guess that’s it for the time being.

For what it’s worth on the GET3, I would probably save it for the time being. CG said they don’t have any current plans to add a character or ship there, but I’m not sure I really believe them. It’s also worth noting that you can use GET3 to get omicrons in the weekly store. Even if you don’t want to hoard, omicrons are a lot more valuable than Kyrotech.
On Ben, I think he does okay damage. I’ve got mine modded for high offense at R5. He can get a good hit in, so it wouldn’t be the worst thing for him to be able to ignore protection. It is worth noting that he can ignore taunt on his turn, so that can be a good way to knock someone out that’s nearly dead.
I personally ended up doing all the omicrons for him. He’s pretty much always going to be on Rey’s team, so you will get utility out of him. Force Dyad is required. The other two are optional. Like I said, being able to ignore protection is nice, but that has less utility on defense because the AI might not play it right. The Obscured special is kind of in the same boat. Having it makes it harder on defense, but it’s not necessarily going to be used right. High relics do give him more durability, of course.
Right now, putting Dash on Rey’s team means it’s incredibly difficult to beat. Without Dash and his Datacron, Rey with Ben does lose to JML. Other GLs can work, but JML is the one I used the most often. And that works with/without omicrons or high relics on Ben. I guess it’s also worth thinking about for the new TB. Ben is required for platoons, but don’t expect the omicrons and relics to make it unbeatable. It just makes it a little more difficult to counter.
For what it’s worth, Rey is likely to be a big player in future Datacrons. Anything like Dash where a single LS unit becomes powerful almost certainly will work with Rey. Ben just adds another layer of difficulty in beating it.
I did do the Traya omicron in time for this GAC . . . and then didn’t actually use her for the first two battles. I fought one on defense with SEE, but my SEE/Wat was able to win. Basically, hope Wat dies quickly so the enemy SEE doesn’t get to his ultimate too quickly. There are some videos of what Traya omicron is able to do on offense:
But to does seem like that might require high relics on her. Again with the new TB, R7 is probably going to become the new standard. I wouldn’t count on that Ackbar/Leia team really happening. There will always be new/better omicrons coming out.
