Unleash the Power of Prepurchase Inspections in the Maritime Industry! ⚓️🚢Here are a few reasons why a pre-purchase inspection should be your guiding star in the maritime world:1️⃣ Uncovering Hidden Treasures: A comprehensive prepurchase inspection reveals the true condition of a vessel, detecting any potential defects, structural issues, or mechanical malfunctions. You'll have a clear picture of what lies beneath the surface, minimizing surprises and ensuring you make an informed decision.2️⃣ Smooth Sailing Transactions: With a thorough inspection report in hand, you gain leverage in negotiations. Identify areas that require attention or maintenance, enabling you to negotiate a fair price or request necessary repairs before closing the deal. It's all about securing a smooth and successful transaction!3️⃣ Protecting Your Maritime Investment: A pre-purchase inspection is your shield against buyer's remorse and unexpected expenses. By having an expert eye assess the vessel's condition, you mitigate the risk of buying a lemon and safeguard your hard-earned resources for future ventures.4️⃣ Industry-Recognized Experts: Don't sail alone! Collaborate with reputable pre-purchase inspection specialists who possess extensive knowledge and experience in the maritime domain. Their expertise ensures that no stone is left unturned during the inspection, granting you the utmost confidence in your investment.Would you like to know more about our pre-purchase inspections? I learned so much while working as a container loader at The prestigious Brian Bell Distribution Centre, a.k.a 1G.I just want to share three important ones out of the many.1. Humility. Always humble yourself when you work. No matter what your background is, always make yourself available and teachable to those who have Authority over you. You are not the only worker who's working hard to earn your daily bread and butter. 2. Professionalism. Always be professional whilst at work. No matter what job you do, you do with love and Professionalism. Look for ways to improve and change the levels of your working environment. You can't stay in the same place for years. Don't limit yourself. But also work with patience and ease. Don't rush. do it professionally.3. Giving. Be a giver in the workplace. It's not the same for everyone. It doesn't matter if it's little or big, give it with all your heart. Don't just be a receiver, be a giver! don't be a kekemahn😂 But yes! be a giver and you will be blessed.May GOD Bless and open new doors for BB1G! Especially the shipping team! They deserve it!

Seeing as I discussed some things related to commercial vehicle registration yesterday, I'm going to continue with that theme today. Here's a bulletin on Alberta's Class 2 plates! In short, a Class 2 licence plate allows a carrier to perform specific types of work hauling other's commodities, generally within a 10 km radius restriction. The registration costs for these plates can be much lower than other plate classes at similar weights. However, Class 2 plate operators who break their registration conditions will quickly erase any registration savings they make by paying fines. It's important to understand the conditions associated with a vehicle's registration! The Alberta Motor Transport Association's Workplace Support Services (WSS) team, where I'm an advisor, regularly publishes and updates bulletins on a variety of topics concerning carriers. You can email us at wss@amta.ca and access our site at this link: https://lnkd.in/g5vruK35Michelle Spacil Cliff Litke Josh Hannaberry Rob Dombowsky MBA, CPHR, CRSP, CTSP Chad Albert Kristin Picken, CTSP Andrew Barnes

BREAKING NEWS!!!Motor carriers have up to 60 days to replace the revoked ELDs with compliant ELDs. Motor carriers and drivers who continue to use the ELDs listed above on or after April 29, 2024 will be in violation of 395.8(a)(1)– “No record of duty status” and drivers will be placed out-of-service in accordance with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) OOS Criteria. But as we all know chances to get these ELDs fully removed are still quite small. CI, CN as well as the KSK already have their own alternatives that are registered. The question is when will the FMCSA take more serious steps into stopping these ELDs from operating and how are the companies that are running illegal hours impacting the current market situation.

Ensuring the protection of your goods during shipping is essential, regardless of whether your cargo has been directly impacted."It is also possible that salvage services required by the vessel may be rendered on LOF (Lloyd's Open Form, formally "Lloyd's Standard Form of Salvage Agreement") or similar terms. In the event of either a declaration of General Average and/or LOF Salvage, securities will need to be provided for all cargo on board.”#generalaverage #marineinsurance

Here is an up-close look at a recent CTIS install by NTS Tire Supply. One of the most frequent questions we get about the system is—will the lines get ripped off? The answer, based on several years of feedback from the field, is 'no'. CTIS literally gives you the perfect tire pressures for road or field at the touch of a button. CTIS works completely in the background while you tend to the job at hand. And its components are designed to withstand the ins and outs of the busiest seasons on the farm.
